October 24, 2019
5:30 pm - 7:00 pm
Brown School, Brown Lounge

Join the Black Students Union, ALPHA and Climate Change at Brown for an evening conversation on the recent report from the Washington University in St. Louis Environmental Law Clinic on Environmental Racism in St. Louis. The report highlights several health-related inequalities faced by black residents of St. Louis including children’s asthma, lead and mold exposure, vacant properties and illegal trash dumping, and unequal burdens of energy and food access. Discussion of the report’s findings will be followed by an open discussion for translating research into action and advocacy.
