Help us clean up the neighborhoods around our campus and celebrate w/ a free lunch from Pickles Deli and frozen treats!
Hi everyone, we are CS40, WashU’s governing student body of the South 40! We are hosting a school-wide clean up event on Earth Day to pick up trash in the communities around our university.
The date and time will be Saturday, April 15th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
If interested, please check out the details below and fill out this interest form: https://forms.gle/M9PLdFJ23fTdqsL5A (in order to register properly you must fill out this form!)
Got Questions?
- Where will we be cleaning up?
The Centennial Greenway (the pathway that WashU students take from Olin Library to the Delmar Loop) and the neighborhood around it, the Delmar Loop, and the Skiner-DeBaliviere area.
- Is there food?
Yes! We’ll have some snacks during the cleanup, and we’ll also have a gathering right after to celebrate with some frozen treats and sandwiches from Pickles Deli!
- Can I do it with my friends?
Of course! Once the date comes closer, we’ll send out another form so you can tell us who you want to be grouped with and which community you want to help clean up. We will all meet at the S40 clock tower at 11:00 AM and divide up into groups to clean up each community.
- Will equipment be provided?
Yup! We will provide trash pickers, trash bags, gloves, and hand sanitizers!
Feel free to reach out to cs40communityservice@wustl.edu with questions or suggestions.
