
EnSt 101 Earth’s Future: Causes and Consequences of Global Climate Change
This unique seminar class gives first-year undergraduates a chance to dive into all aspects of climate change. Professors Tristam R. Kidder and Brent Williams work with guest lecturers across disciplines to give students a comprehensive and interdisciplinary introduction to climate change and climate change-related issues.

EnSt 405 Sustainability Exchange
The Sam Fox School, College of Arts & Sciences, and School of Engineering & Applied Science at Washington University launched the Sustainability Exchange in 2015. It is a unique course bringing together students from across campus to work in interdisciplinary teams to tackle real-world challenges in energy, the environment, and sustainability.

EnSt 407 RESET: Renewable Energy and Decarbonizing the Grid
RESET was originally developed as an independent study project. It is now a capstone course which explores both the opportunities and challenges of the rapidly growing renewable energy industry. Students shape their perspectives by engaging with various faculty, industry professionals, and policy-makers.

EnSt 452 International Climate Negotiation Seminar
This course is an advanced seminar for students who will represent Washington University and the annual United Nations Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
