The Missouri Climate Dialogues are hosted by the WUCCP in partnership with UMSL. The Dialogues aim to provide a place for Missourians to learn about and discuss topics related to Climate and Energy across the state.
Beginning April 6, across the world and in every US State, over 125 universities hosted Solve Climate by 2030 webinars on a Green Recovery, Climate Solutions, and a Just Transition. From Austria to Alabama, Kyrgyzstan to Kentucky, Colombia to Colorado, and Malaysia to Minnesota, we heard from local climate experts about concrete steps that can really move the needle on climate change.
In this MCD, we discussed the next important steps for Missouri with the Honorable Congresswoman Cori Bush. It was followed by a panel discussion with:
- Ashlen Busick – Sr. Regional Rep., Socially Responsible Agriculture Project
- Sal Martinez – Chief Executive Officer, Employment Connection
- Rachel K Owen, PhD – Executive Director, MOST Policy Initiative.
