Washington University in St. Louis is proud to be part of the Research and Independent Non-Governmental Organizations (RINGO) constituency. RINGOs conduct research to develop strategies addressing the causes and consequences of climate change.

WUCCP is connected by providing funding for RINGOs and by director Beth Martin, who serves as a co-focal point. Martin regularly updates the website with COP updates sorted by the UNFCCC, statements by the constituency, and more. This resource is utilized by dozens of countries annually.

Each year, a group of graduate and undergraduate WashU students attend the UNFCCC Conference of the Parties (COP). Each delegate closely follows a topic at the conference by attending side events, sitting in on international negotiations, and interacting with diplomats and students from around the world.
